the gallipoli family has hired bld architecture to design a new multi-family residential development located at 238-254 west main street in the village of patchogue, ny. the 1.2 acre site will provide for 26 residential units with basements and parking for 52 stalls. as the gateway to the village form the west, the buildings recall the earlier industrial warehouse development along mian Street.
whitewashed red brick, steep pitched gable roofs and oriel windows invoke the nineteenth century sail loft industrial buildings along the waterfront. all units are 1,000 gsf one-bedroom flats located on two levels with a common basement storage area for all residents. the dwelling units use a modern open plan with the latest smart technology, hvac, appliances and contemporary finishes.
