green barn real estate group selected bld architecture to design a new 125,000 gsf warehouse distribution center in holbrook, new york. the 8.1-acre lot is located along the north side of veterans memorial highway and grundy avenue to west and high street to the north. the parcel is split zoned and located in the industrial corridor and industrial 1 districts with AA residential to the east and north.
the building which includes approximately 10,000 gsf of office and a clear warehouse height of 36’ to B.O.D.. parking stalls (187) is proposed on site with truck court and utilize adjacent parcel for (23) loading docks. a concrete loading approach services the tailgate height docks / seals for trailers and trucks. the building is proposed as a conventional steel framed system with pre-cast concrete bearing wall panels and glass entry. the site plan was developed by bohler engineering.
