bld architecture led the interior renovation of a new adolescent treatment center designed to support a wide range of mental health services including a day program, outpatient clinical space and private practice. each space is focused on meeting new york state standards as well as industry standards for safety, privacy and behavioral health compliance.
to foster a healthy environment, a psychological utilization of color theory is used as a key element. the colors selected evoked emotions and influenced behaviors of its occupants generating calm, joyful and optimistic spaces. in addition, the finish materials selected balance durability with warmth, supporting the center’s mission to provide dignified care to adolescents in need.
this project reinforces bld architecture’s commitment to delivering healing spaces that uplift the communities we serve.
