bld architecture was selected by fragrancex.com to design a new industrial warehouse distribution center located at 20 ramsey road in shirley, new york. the approximately 6.0-acre parcel is located along ramsey road to the east of william floyd parkway.
the proposed 75,000 gsf single-story building may include approximately 5,000 gsf for administrative offices on the ground floor level. the exterior wall is assumed to be pre-cast concrete and metal panels. the concept site plan is being developed by r&m engineering and will provide for employee parking and additional trailer, van, truck parking and loading. internally the building will provide racking for distribution with multiple loading docks to accommodate the tractor trailer deliveries.
